Artisan sausage maker Pino Rogano, whose cured meats are on the menus at Matt’s in the Market and Lampreia (to name just a few restaurants) is moving his deli from his tiny storefront on Rainier Avenue to the former home of Leah’s Bakery in Ravenna, on the corner of 22nd Ave. and 65th St. NE.I just got off the phone with Rogano, who tells me that he hopes to open up his new deli before his lease runs out on his current shop next month (ed note: south enders, that means you have a few weeks to visit him in your neighborhood). The new place will serve what his customers have come to love: fresh Italian sandwiches, pastas and desserts for dining in or taking out.
