Christmas among Scandinavian-Americans is largely about food, and the Nordic Heritage Museums Yulefest (its not too early for celebrating, is it?) will offer plenty of traditional treats like glögg (hot spiced wine) and rømmegrøt (a porridge made from flour boiled with cream). Funny, theres no mention in their press release of lutefisk, Norways chief contribution to ethnic humor. Crafts, music, and folk dancing will fill out the two-day schedule.
