“Kentucky Windage” is bad-boy Jack Daws’ follow-up to last year’s politically-charged “States of the Union” exhibit, though this show is a bit milder. But Daws still proves he’s one of city’s most original and daring conceptual artists. “Reconstruction” offers up a Confederate flag remade in the colors of the Ethiopian flag (clever, but not likely to stir many emotions in these parts). Higher on the shock-surprise scale is Daws’ indictment of America’s record-high incarceration rate, “Mama Tried,” a playpen fitted with barbed wire, electric fence, and sand. “Origins of the World” collects photos of various-and-sundry coochie snatchers, while the deadpan “Still Life With Watermelon” is a veritable catalog of stereotypes. I’m extremely fond of the satirical elegy “Two Towers,” a photograph of twin towers built exclusively from French fries and ketchup. Reception: 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Thurs. Aug. 7.
