Something’s Happening

But we have no idea what

“Secrets, secrets are no fun, secrets, secrets can hurt someone.” Nah, they can be a lot of fun, especially when it comes to parties and not knowing what to expect. Once upon a time, ravers wouldn’t know where a party would be until the day of, when they had to call a number for directions or hop in a ride-share and be taken to the secret location. That level of stealth isn’t necessary tonight, but to see an installation at an apartment building called “The Belmont,” you do have to get one of 333 free tickets from an employee at La Creperie Voila (outside of the convention center). That’ll get you into eight rooms of installations from artists including Parskid, Ellen Forney, DK Pan, and tons more. There are also 66 $5–$15 tickets available for a new work by performance artists Implied Violence, called the status of the name you miss, love, and search for has now become ambiguous and remote. What are they talking about? There’s only one way to find out. Tickets: La Creperie Voila, 701 Pike St. 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Performance:

Fri., Nov. 30, 9:30 p.m., 2007
