At Bumbershoot one year, Richard Buckner introduced a song by saying, This is a new song . . . and it might turn up on a record someday if I ever run across an honest person in the music industry, which should be in about 55 years. Its truly a beast of a machine, but thankfully has still proven futile against the cross-country-rambling, gruff-voiced Buckner, whos often placed on the shelf next to revered troubadour folkies like Townes Van Zandt. David Dondero opens.
Listen to a sample of Richard Buckner’s “Settled Down.”
