Chop Suey's own Pete Greenberg points the finger.
When Francine Reed isn't playing Madame ZinZanni across the street, she is singing back-up in Lyle Lovett's Large Band. She's in town until January, so catch her at Teatro ZinZanni in Queen Anne while you can. She's a bit of a legend and known for singing one of my favorite songs, Wild Women Don't Get the Blues. They sure don't, honey!
You can often find Elizabeth here. Her family owns the bar.
At the bar, waiting to grab one last drink.
Ralph Portillo screamin' like his all-time fave album, Screamin' Jay Hawkins' Black Music for White People.
Ralph Portillo of Glazer's Camera can't stand the horror of all ofthese bare chests.
and inspires others in the bar to do the same.
Eli of the Crocodile shows me his good side...
Christopher Nelson and Seth Wonner
John Roderick of the Long Winters, fresh home from a tour with BenGibbard and Jay Farrar.
Wedding photographer Bradley Hanson as intense as he wants to be.
Brent & Arianna get a little goofey with me.
Jacob Hoffman of the Lashes and SHiPS
Heather giggles into her drink with Laurie.
Laurie Kearney, founder of Ghost Gallery and a member of the local art collective Gossamer and Anna Banana of Capitol Hill boutique Pretty Parlor pal around.
It was a fun crowd.
Dave & Laura, whose images adorned the wall that night.
When he's not tending bar at Solo, you can find Michael Lee shredding on guitar in the band Mal de Mer (it means seasick in French).
