Singer-songwriter Dennis Lambert had a dazzling cross-genre three-decade run as a songwriter and producer (including Glen Campbells Rhinestone Cowboy and the Four Tops Aint No Woman) before retiring to raise a family and sell real estate. Convinced by his son, Jody Lambert, to finally accept an offer to perform in the Philippines, where hes an icon on the basis of his lone 1972 LP, Lambert lets Jodys camera follow along as he stages a comeback hed never envisioned. The resulting documentary, Of All the Things, is a hilarious, hugely moving film that not only shines a much deserved spotlight on one of pops minor masters, but serves as a loving tribute to the devotion of fans. Tonight, both father and son will be interviewed by local film gadfly Warren Etheredge after the screening. (NR) ED HALTER
