Maybe youre really into the guerrilla square dance of Goat Ass, or know what Deb Seymour and the Debonairs mean by kool kat krazy folk. Im just excited for the high-energy clogging of the Main Street Cloggers. Theyre some of the 7,000-or-so performers at the 37th Northwest Folklife Festival (through Sun., May 26) who might be a little more familiar than twin hurdy-gurdies. After all, just about everyone (around 250,000 people at least) makes an appearance at the community arts festival, whether theyre Starbucks-quaffing yuppies or dreadlocked hippies. This years cultural focus is on Urban Indians, and the festival will be examining how Native American culture intersects with city life. Seattle Center, 684-7300, www.nwfolklife.org.
