Day of the Dead at SPL

Connect with your Mexican roots—or claim some new ones—by remembering loved ones during a series of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) events at several city libraries. The Central Library will have story times, in English and Spanish, where many traditions will be shared. Feeling creative? Come decorate sugar skulls with a variety of colorful materials, or help make traditional paper laterns—known as liminaries—at the Greenwood, Central, and Beacon Hill branches during select days. Music and dance will keep everyone’s heart moving during this festive event. See SPL Web site for full schedule and details.LAUREN LYNCH
