ARTISTS’ HOLIDAY SALE

The 30 exhibiting artists at Gallery 110 are getting a jump on the long, long line of other Seattle art folk who’ll be trying to get a piece of the Christmas action, launching their sale on the biggest shopping weekend of the year. The emphasis here is on items under $100: ceramics, jewelry, magnets, hand-painted tissue boxes, “flammable and edible paintings,” and other miscellaneous tchotchkes, such as cast concrete doorknobs in the shape of fists. (Above is Natalie Niblack’s The Rat Catcher, a woodblock print she created to illustrate a book of fairy tales.) A holiday bash Saturday night features nibbles, a raffle and musical entertainment by the Chronic Quartet. Noon-6 p.m. Fri. Nov. 28-Sun. Nov. 30. Holiday Bash: 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Sat. Nov. 29. Gallery 110, 110 S. Washington St., 206-624-9336.
