For 20 years now the Wing Luke Asian Museum has been regionally and nationally known as a community space for exploring the culture, art, and history of Asian Pacific Americans. So if you haven’t been by during your gallery-and-museum crawls lately, get down there! Its doors at the current location will close in two days, with a reopening at the East Kong Yick Building scheduled for May of next year. The final week countdown, “Cheers to 20 Years!,” offers free admission to exhibits including “How the Soy Sauce Was Bottled: Uncommon Stories of Common Objects,” for which artists including Heinrich Toh, James Lawrence Ardeña, June Sekiguchi, Saya Moriyasu, and Susie Jungune Lee created new works inspired by those in the museum’s permanent collection.
