There are a lot of ways a one-night stand can end, but when your man runs out the door so he can get to GOODS by 11 a.m. (and to an overpriced pair of limited-edition Nikes), you know the store is trafficking in something as irresistible as sex itself. Kids (of all ages) clamor for the shoes, decks, and allover prints the store sells, and art shows staged in the boutique bring out huge and hyper crowds. GOODS Nin Truong, also a founder of the Georgetown design studio Luxé Riot, celebrates the studios three-year anniversary with his partner Eric Green in Latenite, a show of new work thats up throughout October. Luxé Riot services clients from Stussy to Microsoft to Via Tribunali with bold graphic and identity designs. On display at GOODS are the personal projects of designers Truong, Green, Christa Thomas, George Engelstad, Brayden Olson , Lilia Ramirez, Evan Wishnia, John Overly, and NKO. Proceeds from all sales benefit funds for ailing artists Wishnia and NKO, wholike much of Seattles young arts communityhave style, but not money, to burn.
