Duties to include:-Review current processes, analyze best practices and more effective approaches and recommend and defend a structure and processes that will improve/enhance regulatory efforts across the City. Research approaches used by other jurisdictions around the country and determine appropriate replication or modified application in Seattle.- Serve as the City’s primary point of contact on all issues related to nightlife regulation in the City of Seattle.- Coordinate the activities of the Joint Enforcement Team (JET), an interdepartmental team responsible for the regulation of the nightlife industry to ensure a safe and vibrant nightlife in the City.
