Say it Loud: Illegal and Proud: My husband and I were called to interviews for 6 years, and every time we took time off from work to attend these interviews we had wait about four hours. The meetings usually took about 10 minutes, during which time we were regarded suspiciously and questioned about the validity of our marriage. At the final interview, the agent did apologize that the clerks had brushed us off for so long, but then she questioned a longtime friend of mine, who had actually been a witness at our wedding, and asked if I was gay. But,no, here we are again with the Dems whining incessantly about everything. Have you not learned that going negative doesn't work? Did you not learn from the John Kerry fiasco? The Dems had that election WON, and yet still found a way to lose it. I am disappointed that some people don't believe in it has become a validated excuse for discrimination. I support her decision to keep trying and perhaps by next year King County will have gained some enlightenment toward the realization of their chosen namesakes' (Martin Luther King, Jr) dream of equality under the Law.
