If Michael Comte did what police accuse him of doing then not only is the 32-year-old Tacoma resident a shithead, but he’s a really stupid shithead at that. Comte was babysitting the 3-year-old daughter of a friend when he allegedly raped the little girl while snapping pictures and video on his cell phone. Instead of getting rid of the evidence, however, he donated the phone to Goodwill.One of the charity’s employees took the phone for their personal use and quickly realized its previous owner was sick and twisted. Police were then able to trace the phone back to Comte and track down the mother of the little girl, who up to that point had been unaware of the alleged rape.Comte was arrested Thursday. He stands accused of rape of a child, sexual exploitation of a minor and being too stupid to realize he’d made public a damning piece of evidence.
