Robert Mak, who’s leaving his post as political reporter/Up Front host at King 5 to become the communications director for the mayor, won’t just make more than Nickels himself– he’s also going to make considerably more than his predecessor Marianne Bichsel. Mak will bring in $160,000. According to the city, Bichsel earned $104,000 before she left in October.
