God’s speed trying to get out of SeaTac Airport. It remains one frozen, ice-pelleted, misty mess. As Tim, who runs local real estate blog Seattle Bubble, tweets: “Friend who works at Seatac airport says the deicing equipment is ‘completely encased in snow.'” For further evidence that the clock has been turned back a few thousand years, look no further than this photo from a Facebook friend who shall remain nameless. Yes, those are icicles.Earlier today, Alaska and Horizon airlines, which handle about half the 780 daily flights at the airport, canceled all of them until 10 a.m., this morning, save for those jetting off to Hawaii, Mexico or the East Coast. The airline are struggling now to get 25 more up in the air late this afternoon.
