King County Sheriff’sJoseph Iaocolucci: you do not have a friend in him.If this is how Joseph Iaoculucci treats his friends, I’d hate to see what he does to his enemies. The P-I reports that last January, the 34-year-old Iaocolucci was introduced to a middle-aged man with the cognitive capacity of a sixth-grader. The man thought he’d found a friend. Iacolucci apparently disagreed: he’d found a patsy.Prosecutors say that Iaocolucci was soon pressuring his victim into loaning him cash. The man, who detectives describe as very trusting and eager to please, obliged him with $8,500 in loans which Iaocolucci used as his personal ATM.The crime wasn’t uncovered until the man’s mom returned home from taking care of a sick relative. Then she discovered that, on top of his original thievery, Iaocolucci had also gotten an accomplice to use her son’s credit card for a $4,000 shopping spree at Nordstrom’s. The proxy thief returned the clothes for cash, but never re-paid the man who bought them.Iaccolucci is charged with four counts of first-degree theft. He’s also been accused of being a really crappy friend.
