Local no-kill non-profit organization Animal Talk Shelter hosts “Pasta and Paws,” its 2nd annual fundraising auction at the Old Spaghetti Factory at 6:30 p.m. Admission ($35 adults, $10 kids) includes an entree of your choice, dessert, and a beverage, plus five “auction bucks.” Call the shelter or visit its website for tickets.In other news, in honor of National Pickle day, The Counter serves $1 fried dill pickle chips from open to close on Sunday, November 14. (But hey, you might as well get a burger while you’re there.)
