Last year’s festival sold out months in advance, and there’s no reason to believe this year’s won’t, too. And after last night’s announcement of the full festival lineup (Wilco, Flaming Lips, Cold War Kids, Beach House, etc.), those who have remained on the fence since hearing word of Foo Fighters’ Friday night set at the Gorge over Memorial Day weekend, are likely to jump on their passes. $285 gets you four nights of music and camping. And maybe a hail storm. Actually, Neko Case isn’t playing (she’s played 7 out of 10 fests, sometimes with the New Pornographers), so don’t plan for hail.
