The Elma woman had been looking after her neighbor’s house for about a month, collecting their mail after they’d moved out of state, when she noticed something suspicious yesterday morning. A car she didn’t recognize kept driving up and down the rural road she lived on, just outside of downtown. Her interested piqued, the woman went next door to take a closer look.There she found the mysterious car parked in the garage. Inside the house, she saw something she’d probably prefer to un-see: a naked couple entwined on the floor, caught in the middle of an amorous act.Naturally, the housesitter yelped and called 911. Also naturally, the half-dressed burglars got the hell out of dodge, with the woman running off into some nearby woods and the man right behind her taking off in the car that had brought them there, both forgetting to take with them a key piece of evidence.That evidence was the camcorder used to tape their larcenous lovemaking. Armed with the tape, Gray Harbor police were able to identify the two suspects, who are apparently well-known around those parts.”We’re not sure what the motivation for the break-in was,” an officer told the Daily Weekly, noting that thus far they hadn’t found anything missing from the home, “but it’s a fair bet to say narcotics may have been involved.The 39-year-old woman was arrested later that evening for investigation of burglary. A warrant has also been issued for the 31-year-old man. And both may face more charges, since the camcorder that was their undoing was also determined to be stolen during a separate break-in.
