A 60-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk on Alaskan Way when it collapsed, dropping him ten feet. Surprisingly, he wasn’t injured, and firefighters just got him out. KIRO was streaming the rescue on live video–now the video feed is just the helicopter just following his ambulance. I wonder how long they’ll keep that up–that’s some pretty expensive footage.
