So it looks like public health clinics, County parks, and a few other King County services will probably get cut, since King County can’t raise any money. And, last session, the state government knocked a bunch of old, sick, disabled people off of its bennies list because it couldn’t raise any money. (For good measure, it also cut everything else.) But at least the Washington State Lottery has figured out a way to raise money to pay down the debt that King County and the state didn’t already pay down after paying to build Qwest Field. Here’s to a nice place to watch a game! Bring grandma, if she’s still alive.
