The New York indie-folk band Woods just visited the Tractor Tavern last month — I’ve heard them described as Brooklyn’s Fleet Foxes, so that means we should like them, right? Woods just released a new music video for “Death Rattle,” off their latest album, At Echo Lake. The clip centers around a creepy forest cult and confirms everything you might have guessed about creepy forest cults — they wear robes and pointy hoods, they have creepy kids who play with creepy toys, they hold hands and chant, and if they catch you watching them, they’ll go apeshit and attack you. That said, “Death Rattle” is a very pretty song.
