If you still miss your Sonics, know that SW videographer/independent filmmaker Jason Reid feels your pain. He just released the trailer for Sonicsgate, his much-awaited documentary about the team’s departure. The film features interviews with Seattle NBA figures ranging from Kevin Calabro to Sam Perkins to Rainier Beach grad Jamal Crawford to Save Our Sonics-endorsed mayoral hopeful James Donaldson, for whose candidacy Reid’s production company 2R donated a couple ads. Sonicsgate is scheduled for a worldwide Internet Premiere October 12th, and the film’s webpage features a real-time countdown clock.
