Tracy Floren had five months of freedom in between the day when his wife Nancy was killed and when he was arrested for her murder. In that time he allegedly got flush, throwing out all of her stuff, trading their Kent home for a Belltown condo and receiving close to a million dollars from life insurance pay-outs and her retirement savings. Now the P-I reports that her family wants that money back.Nancy, a 56-year-old CFO for a local trucking company pictured above, was found dead three years ago after having been shot twice in the head. Her attacker had ransacked the house to make it look like a burglary gone bad, but suspicion quickly landed on her husband.Tracy, the cops said, didn’t seem too broken up over his wife’s death. He was quick to offer an alibi that later didn’t check out. And police later found his DNA on a set of earplugs near Nancy’s body.A recovering alcoholic, Tracy had expressed frustration with his wife during his most recent treatment session. And when investigators searched his computer, they found he’d been shopping for mail-order brides.Convicted this past January, Tracy is currently serving 30 years for the murder, more than likely a life sentence considering he’s 66.
