So some UW researchers did a study (pdf) on UW students and found that only half of them understood what a 25% chance of rain means. The other half thought it means that, say, it would rain 25% of that day, or that 25% of a certain area was going to get rain. I wonder what they’d think if you told them they had a 25% chance of getting laid. Maybe some top-front quadrant action?
