The mode in Microsoft Word that allows you to “track changes” can be useful, as all writers and editors know. But for God’s sake, turn it off before you send out the darn document. I’m betting the flak for Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg, currently running for state Attorney General, is wishing right now he had.
