Kinect, Microsoft’s new motion capture gaming system for the Xbox 360 launched yesterday. And, as if on cue, a couple geeky dudes have already taken it upon themselves to watch the gadget do its thing through infrared goggles. Kinect uses a special camera that bathes the room in thousands of tiny points of light that track the moves of its users. IR translation = some trippy ass shit.Give the first video a minute to get going and try and disregard the horrific Kiwi accent.The next one cuts right to the chase, though I found myself kind of missing the Kiwi-speak by the end of it.
