Normally a mayoral candidate opening a regional campaign office would be a hum-drum bit of news that even the Daily Weekly would ignore. But when that candidate is the same candidate whose campaign momentarily forgot that Empire Way became Martin Luther King Jr. Way in the ’80s, and then announces he’ll be opening said regional office on MLK Way within the same week, well, that’s just too rich.So, without further ado: Mike McGinn will be opening a Southeast Seattle office this Saturday at 6951 MLK Wy. S., Suite 223. A kickoff party, to which the public is invited, will commence at 3:15.
