Krittiya SriyabhandhaOn July 13, the Brooklyn trio School of Seven Bells (identical twins Alejandra and Claudia Deheza plus ex-Secret Machines guitarist Benjamin Curtis) will release Disconnect From Desire, a record that is equal parts trippy electronica and lush, floating vocal harmonies. Right now, the record is streaming in its entirety on Rolling Stone’s website. Click here to listen — it’s beautiful, tranquilizing music, well worth your time. My favorites are the opener, “Windstorm,” and the hypnotizing single, “Babelonia.”School of Seven Bells will headline Neumos on September 27.
