After a noble attempt to keep the bar alive — including more than a couple pro bono nights behind the bar for some employees — Ballard’s The Bit served its last drink on Monday night. A former employee tells us that there may be something to the rumors that the space will again play a role in the local music community. For now, RIP BIT.
