Well, it hasn’t been made/released/or something, yet. Folks at the beloved Seattle label say they’re still trying to figure out what to do with “Bark 100.” But enough of the technicalities, this nice number 100 is a perfect time to look back at the label that rose to prominence putting out albums from a little band called Death Cab For Cutie, as well as local/national acts like The Long Winters, John Vanderslice, Ra Ra Riot, Jesse Sykes, Rocky Votolato, and many, many others.So, tell us, as we stare down “Bark 100”, what is your favorite of the first 100 “Bark” records? If you need a refresher, Barsuk would be happy to remind you what albums they’ve put out since 1994.* Note: According to the label, “Bark 101” doesn’t mean they’ve put out 101 releases. They’ve not sure of the exact number of tapes, CDs, singles, LPs, etc., that have passed through their fingers.
