The Totem House in Ballard closed after 71 years of business.The Totem House at 3058 Northwest 54th Street in Ballard has closed after a 71-year-run, according to the Seattle Times. Its chowder and fish and chips will be sorely missed.In other news, U District Daily reports that Wing Central has replaced Don Eduardo Family Mexican Restaurant at 4524 University Way. It opens tomorrow, January 5, but is already well-versed in feeding college students — the original location is based in Ellensburg.
