Nashville’s Landon Pigg has a lot going for him. He’s good looking – kind of like a non-douchey version of Ashton Kutcher — and although he’s been a touring musician for a few years now (his songs have been featured on Grey’s Anatomy and One Tree Hill), his career is really starting to pick up these days. In the past year, Pigg has starred as Ellen Page’s love interest in Drew Barrymore’s Whip It!, seen his third record, The Boy Who Never, debut in the Billboard 200, and just last week he performed for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show . (Click here to watch the video; he performs “Darling I Do,” which will appear in the new Shrek movie). Into it? Pigg’s currently on tour and will be playing at the Triple Door this Saturday, May 22. The show’s at 8 p.m., all ages, and is selling fast. Tickets are $12 advanced, $14 day of show – unless you want to go for free. In that case, email me at ethompson@seattleweekly.com with the subject line “Pigg Please” by 5pm to be entered in a drawing to win a pair of tickets. Winner will be announced tomorrow morning. Good luck!
