Today, at five minutes and six seconds after 4:00 p.m., it will be 04:05:06 on 07/08/09. Somewhere in the world, the numerology freaks are going nuts over this once in a lifetime event. But not me. As soon as I get a crazy text message about stuff like that, my mind drifts to Morris Day and the Time. Morris had one of the best hairdos in funk music during the early ’80s and this classic album cover on the left is still one of my favorite of all time. Plus, it’s as fine of a time as any to remember this crazy jam from 1982.
