The P-I alumni website, Seattle PostGlobe, still needs money but has a snazzy new look and increasingly more readable stuff (it’s also a partner of Seattle Weekly), while another alumni site, InvestigateWest, has missed its original launch date, but still plans to go live in July. IW also has just published a list of staffers and overseers, including MSNBC editor-in-chief Jennifer Sizemore as a board member. Besides main honcho Rita Hibbard, former P-I reporters and editors now appearing on the IW masthead include Robert McClure, Carol Smith, Daniel Lathrop, Kristen Millares Young and ex-P-I (and current Seattle Times) investigator Lewis Kamb. Besides the board of directors, IW has an advisory board as well. A note on the site says “We are currently in the process of expanding both boards in anticipation of our July 1 launch.”
