Love Pike Place Market, hate tourists? Then here’s some good news for you. West Seattle Blog reports that the owners of Pike Place Produce just signed a lease to open a year-round “farmer’s market” on Fauntleroy Way. Pike Place Produce Company will sell fresh local produce, as well as popular items from the market like handmade cheeses, pastas, and flowers. Just think, you can spend the money you save by not parking downtown on more quality groceries. In other news, a new burger joint is taking over the space formerly occupied by Collins Gold Exchange on 23rd Avenue, according to Central News District. Burger Central anticipates a mid-May opening.
