First there was the Ride the Duck boat in Philly that was sunk by a sludge-carrying barge, killing two passengers. Now there’s the case of the runaway duck in Boston — a boat that got into a seven-car pile-up after something fell beneath the brake pedal. Weird. It’s almost as if amphibious vehicles from WWII are unreliable or something.
