Luke Sommer, the accused leader of the Army Ranger bank-assault unit, has decided not to fight extradition from Canada, and is being brought to Tacoma to stand trial for robbery. He faces a possible 30-year sentence for the heist which, he told me, was done supposedly to expose war crimes – or maybe it was to bankroll a crime family to take over the Hells Angels turf in B.C., something like that.More here.
