In the pantheon of local songwriters pining for a simpler, more satisfying life, Whalebones’ “I Don’t Wanna Live in the City No More” is the magnum opus, and also the least insufferable. Instead of prancing around the notion that a hard day’s work tilling the field is a more honorable way to live, Justin Deary comes out and shouts it.
