(Particularly, the treasure in the Emerald City Search, the contest sponsored by the Seattle Times, One Reel, and others.) Since then, Fed chief Ben Bernanke said that, like a newly single 20-something at a Pioneer Square club on a drink-special night, we’re poised for a rebound.Back to Seattle: Local home prices show signs of stabilizing, and now our treasure hunt treasures are headed back upward. Jeff McCord, the Emerald City Search’s “Clue Meister,” has notified us that the Search’s prize–which dropped to a value of $1,000 after initially hyped to be worth $13,000–is up to $3,000. So go ahead, LL: Call it a comeback.
