As a card-carrying member of the legion of teenage girls who worshipped Gwen Stefani back in the late ’90s, but never got to see her in concert (thanks a lot, Dad), I’ve gotta say: this No Doubt concert could very well fulfill a lot of unfulfilled childhood dreams. But then, is it worth it to brave the White River just to hear “Just A Girl” and “Spiderweb”? And, ok, fine, “Holla Back Girl”? You be the judge. What I do know is that you can apparently get lawn seats for $10 (regular tickets range from $39.50 to $70.) Which will almost offset the cost of all the gas you’ll use idling for the hours it will take you to enter and/or leave the venue– not that it can be helped, so I suggest doing what the seasoned White River veterans do: stock the car with a big-ass cooler of beer, good tunes and some doobage (if that’s your thing) and settle in for the long haul. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com.
