Joel KovernmoNick Nelson is The Moondoggies’ tour manager, and will be keeping the band in line on the road. Duties include ensuring that members of the band check in with Reverb readers on a regular basis. So The Moonfroggies have just embarked on their longest and most legit tour to date (as in the venues all know we’re coming…I’m looking at you, bar in Chico! And our first ever out of the country.) We’re joined on this journey by the Cave Singer and the Dutchess and the Duke (!). Now I would like to introduce our good friend and tour manager, Nick Nelson. Up until recently, Nick was a mailman. He is now our fifth member. Nick is a man of many talents, including the organization we lack.Caleb has said goodbye to his wife and baby girl. Carl, Bob, and I said goodbye to…our stuff. Who will miss what more? It’s hard to tell. The goal of this trip is to:A. Play out of Washington.B. Finalize a track list before our April mastering date.C. Scale hotel fences for some late-night swimming.D. Make it to SXSW and back.So I’ll be saying a few words here and there. Or maybe just a few photos that need no explanation…– Kevin Charles Murphy
