Writing under the nom de plume of the famous (fake) peasant pitchman, the anonymous regular reviewer on the invaluable Starbucks Gossip Web site doesn’t like what he finds at an Auburn store. He (or possibly she) writes:”Every table had crumbs on it and a couple had dirty cups. The floor was filthy. The usual newspapers were scattered about. Partners couldn’t even be bothered to come out and clean the lobby.”Juan, supposedly a former Starbucks manager, also breaks out a final score for the shop, as he does in every review. It’s brutal, but awfully funny. And the terrible thing? Even if I’ve never been to that Auburn location, Juan’s comments remind me of plenty of other Starbucks I’ve visited.
