The likely drug overdose of 80’s icon Corey Haim last week came at a bad time for the former “Lost Boy.” (As if death can ever come at a “good” time.)According to friends, Haim was broke. The former child actor was living in a month-to-month rental with his mom, who’d recently been diagnosed with cancer. And his only source of income was the occasional appearance fee at conventions.Unsure how she was going to pay for his funeral, Haim’s mom says the city of Toronto agreed to help cover the costs of the Canadian-born star’s ceremony.
