Veggie fans, take note! On Saturday and Sunday, April 10 and 11, Seattle Center will host the largest vegetarian food festival in the country at Seattle Center’s Exhibition Hall. Vegfest features over 500 free (!) food samples from around the world, including dishes from the United States, Mexico, Italy, and India. (Be sure to try the garbanzo bean curry.) Once you’ve stuffed yourself silly, you can catch a PCC Cooks chef cooking demo or a doctor lecture on the health benefits of a meatless diet. The cost is $8, kids 12 and under eat free. It’s like IHOP! But better for you.
