The owner of Buckley’s is moving into the Marjorie space on Blanchard and 2nd (owner Donna Moodie lost her lease on the space and is planning on a late-September move-out).Tim Buckley knowns a thing or two about losing a lease. He lost the lease on Belltown Pub (currently Belltown Bistro) in 2003, before opening Buckley’s on Queen Anne. He’s now leasing the entire building block currently housing Marjorie. Tim tells me the second Buckley’s location is going to be a replica of his popular lower Queen Anne spot (which he’ll continue running).
