Today, January 6th, is National Bean Day. It’s also National Cuddle Day… You’d think they would have separated these two. I mean, it’s celebrate one or the other.I came across these facts on this site, FoodReference.com, a web-based desk calendar of sorts assembled by a man in Minnesota, chock full of food history, facts and many, many obscure “National Days” listed out in an simple HTML site. I wish it A.) was a blog and B.) had an RSS feed. I also learned that January is also National Fiber Focus Month, National Prune Month and National Oatmeal Month. Oddly, I don’t have a single fart joke to make of it all.
