I must amend yesterday’s post about the success of CleanScapes to say that another local company is also going gangbusters, apparently: PopCap Games, which makes so-called “casual” games (i.e., moving little jewel thingies around; no car crashes, hos, or explosions), says its sales nearly doubled last year. And no wonder: They’re cheap, easy, and there’s a lot of people who’ve got a lot of time on their hands. The best thing about PopCap Games, as we reported last year, is that they’re not only fun, they’re good for you! Science proves it!
